]]> Sat May 16 2009 Military Aircraft From Years Gone By http://skellair.fotopic.net/c1606478.html While browsing through some of my old photo's, I decided it would be a good idea to scan some of them and add them to this site. This collection dates back to around 1985 and some of my early efforts at photographing what was at the time, some of the latest military hardware to grace our sky's. The quality of these scanned photo's are not exactly top notch, but I think they serve as a reminder of what has come and gone over the past 20 years or so. I will be adding more shots as and when time allows. ]]> Tue Aug 5 2008 Manchester 2008 http://skellair.fotopic.net/c1518259.html The first run down of 2008, was for the Russain invasion in connection with the UEFA Cup Final being held at the City of Manchester Stadium. A very enjoyable day was had sitting on the mound, even if we did miss the Transaero 747 landing. The big question being asked was, would it live up to expectations ? I believe it did, however there were many who thought it didn't. All I would like to say on the matter, is a big thank you to all the people at RIAT and the various armed forces for taking the time and trouble to put on a show. I hope you enjoy my selection of shots taken at this years event and I am sure there are many of you out there who will join me in looking forward to RIAT 2008.
